been in a lil hibernation mode trying to gear up for the upcoming exams

without much luck since the ibm paper where straight after that we headed down to prata house for a long overdue prata session!

with these people, you gotta have the night all planned out or else you would spend an hour by the railings (acting gangstaaa) and end up not coming up with any feasible plan so we all head home, satisfied nonetheless.

then came valentines day,

a very unplanned night, which saw me calling 5 different restaurants at holland village to find a place for five

landed with a place we weren't all that hyped about but we cant be choosers when we start making plans at 4+ right, and its really the company that matters above all, so it was the five oily monks at my house for a pre dinner romantic movie that had the cheesiest romantic lines, crystal jade la mian, people watching/laughing, gorging ourselves, and our fav, supermarket shopping esp with MUMMY LOUIE (hah i think shes gonna kill me!) who buys for you anything you want!

appetizers was great stuff but cant say the same for their mains

1 word, STUFFED.

reunion dinner with the people at home,

and then a trip down to video ezy to prep for our movie marathon

1st day of CNY was to mass, then gma's house where i finally learnt how to play MAHJONGG!!

so i played mahjong for 5 hrs until dinner cant believe i didnt learn to play it earlier its like HOW funnn!

day #2 was filled with guests then we continued with more dvds

later alicia hwee cheeweng snowball dropped by for a visit and a round of mahjong

we ended up playing more of the aeroplane game, watching dvds & eating delivered macs till 6 am before they drove back home

hwee was the terrorist, alicia ms convoy, chweng mr dice stealer, me ms babysteps, josh snowy

heh real funny night with lines like "immortality! take it, its yours!"

last fri and sat were fantastic night out with the girls
i would say friday was spontaneous and saturday exotic
so friday was quite an adventure
after my last econs lessons i joined my cousin during her lunch break just for a little meet up cos i psed her on thurs
then lazed at home for awhile before heading down to nus to pick up christine for dinner
so we went to fisherman's wharf but was caught in the usual keppel peak period jam cos christine said that fisherman's wharf was in the cbd area
anyway we mapped our way thru the rain and traffic while taking many photos at red lights
when we got there and ordered we realised that we didnt have enuff cash and they had no other form of payment
so christine offered to go to an atm which was rather far and on her way back she got caught in the rain
we took a drive down to the east side visited some place near siglap
then my dad calls to tell me that he missed his flight so he was gonna be much later than expected, so we stopped by a deserted lane thinking of where to go next
considering we were really full and had no more room for dessert, we did not have many options
turns out christine's sis had a hotel room at changi village hotel so we decided to head there since we had so much time
we missed the turning for changi village 2 times, and when we finally got on the right path we got distracted with the planes taking off and landing that we made pit stops to take photos, planes watch and just enjoy the breeze
boy i made so many illegal u turns and stops at "no stopping zones"
so we ended up not going to changi village and just when i was about to send christine home, we were around jac's house
called jac to warn her that we were about to invade.. slumped around her house chewing on her very hard cookie and burning the cd that christine was sick of cos it was playing over and over again thruout our 5 hr ride
my dad called again that he was about to arrive so i sent christine home and then rushed down to the airport to get him

saturday was an amies night to celebrate jes's birthday!
alittle farrerpark/little india mix up to start of the night
northern indian food @ delhi restaurant
garlands for the birthday girl and poodus to go around, though the rest werent quite enthusiatic about it
walked thru little india in search of an atm(AGAIN.. we should all really carry more cash)
then a drive down to the tea party where we drank tea DUHH.. and floats and played cluedo
i wanna buy a cluedo set! its really funnn, all of us being such noobs at it but still taking down notes as if we knew what we were doing! we cheated at the last part though!
so details to the murder was mrs peacock, wrench & the billard room

yay the card arrived,
which means unlimited spending!.. ok or maybe not
anyway came at the right time when i'm ultimately dead broke
and in a desperate search for grey skinnys

the word ultimately reminds me of my meeting with "the ultimate" while studying at one of the study benches today
the nickname the ultimate is so so apt

lately discussion rooms have been the talk of the town, now that exams are around the corner
but i think i'll stick to my secret studying in any empty lt i can find
cos its so much more spacious and much easier to breathe than one of those tiny boxy discussion rooms

i'm such the multitasker
i'm watching gilmore girls, the oc and blogging at the same time!

no school tomorrow so hopefully i can cover some econs
and i've rearranged my playlist so i have over 100 emo songs to do stats with
weeekend stats time

i'm loving the units i take;
econs is teaching me to spend more money for the greater good of the economy
and soci is teaching me to go out there to make more friends and broaden my network
i like what i hear

i finally watched night at the museum last week
after a month of cancelled plans and bad timings
i like the 2 tiny dudes- jed and octavius
they are such a hilarious pair

and

on a very rainy sat was fun stuff, with a good mix of family bands, cliche games, misleading auctions and para para dance songs
cept that my very very traumatised eye(from an eye infection) was bugging me all night
by 5am i thot my eyes were gonna burst!
it wasn't supposed to be such a long night but 1 thing led to another and next thing i know, the sun was about to rise

so daphne wanted pink, and pink we gave her!
