met ron and steph for lunch after their extra lessons at sch
didnt bother to go for the extra lessons
cos it wasnt compulsory for me! :)
ate crepes and cream
it was my first time and i think the food there aint that great..
'cept for the ice creams and deserts
was supposed to meet jo-tong too but she didnt finish math lect till 1-ish
thank gawd i didnt go for the extra lessons!

anyway still had to go back to sch for ltc breifing
didnt know what the hell they wanted to tok to us about for 3 hrs
went 10 mins late
and by then everyone was seated and bro paul started toking alreadi
he went on and on about leadership
was trying hard to pay attention but soon his words became juz sounds
then they broke us into our groups
my group consists of all the htcs from classes of multiples of 3s
eg: 3, 6, 9, 12...
and mr tan j.s. is our teacher i/c
our group name is N(subscript)2 as in the nitrogen molecule
cos it sounds like enthu - short for enthusiasm
smart huh!

some other groups came up with wierd french sounding names which mr tan had the hardest time pronouncing which was utterly hilarious!
my group not bad lah.. alot of gurls.. quite fun
played some get to noe each other games like arranging oursleves according to ascending b-daes without toking.. longest hair ( and i realised i am the only one with a pony-tail in that group).. biggest feet
we were also briefed on what to bring
and on the "what to bring list" states white tee
so someone asks can we bring other coloured tees
the ans was no
someone asks why
and the ans was we are gonna play water games
*irony*

then we were supposed to make our "identity" as in customised name tags for our group
so we decided to go down to popular to get the stuff needed to make it
and i kaypo say i can go cos anyway i also wanted to go there to get some materials to make my drama anthology
end up only a few of us went
and all of a sudden we were goin to the popular at toa payoh!
i mean i was thinking of orchard!
anyway it was too late to back out so juz went

made loads of noise deciding on what to do like the colours shapes and style
decided on black paper and pink fabric paint with glitter
and guess what i also ended up with the task to write the names and laminate it .. i guess becos i was toking too much

met ron later at orchard
went to popular again to get my own stuff
and then had dinner at kfc
then walked around and bought a few nick knacks
saw rauda and izyan
they told me they sat the harry potter bus
and i didnt belief them till they showed me the card!
ahha cant belief they actually haf a harry potter bus!

BEDAZZLED

took the opportunity to sleep in today
had lunch
read thru some drama theory shit
then made my way to newton mrt to meet fellow drama-ers
found the garden hotel quite easily which was super near my house at bamoral gate !
imagine if i lived there.. i can juz walk over 5 mins before my drama exam man!

anyway the room was really colourful and cheery
but the toilet smelt of pee :(

hais finally sch is out!
so tired of test cca and bascially the idea of sch
plan to get some rest during the hols.. sleep in and pig out!
but first i gotta get past drama exam first

completed gp and chinese listening today
a load of my shoulders!
did qn 1 about what qualities must a good leader have in a democracy
used all i learnt in julius caesar
so it was quite alright
but then came paper 2
screwed up for summary and AQ
really stoned for AQ...

went to orchard with ron b4 chinese listening
wanted to eat long jons but it was closed
so resorted to bk for 2 packs of hash brown
then ya kun for ice coffee
while i was TRYING to read thru some gp family notes
but of course nothing bout it came out

after gp lisa was so cute!
she had to carry a whole load of books back in a box
and she was complaining that she would look like such an idiot carrying the box across the bridge
so ron made a deal with her
if she could balance a book on her head from the stairs to the gate he would help her carry it across
and she actually did it !
hahs! amazing!

later went to town again with the whole jing gang
to lazy to name out all
hahaha
went to pac plaza to get a shirt for chng's bdae
then borders to get a card and then went to lido to eat
found a really cool deserted place juz like the one at paragon
then came home with belloc
and i had to run through my whole lane cos there was lightning
and i'm like really afraid of lightning when i am in open space
first time cjc pe did me any good

went to airport to fetch my daddy back!
love the airport!
gives me a feeling of some kind
like a really warm feeling somehow!

the arrival hall was filled with hapiness children laffing and getting all excited to see the father or mother returning!
at the airport i had a suddenly got the idea of being an air stewardess
wonder if my height is acceptable..
i think it would be so fun travelling .. but it could be tiring too
anyways my mum said that its a lousy job.
and my daddy brought back pringles for me from china!
i tell u he is crazy!
and now my mom is saying how she which casper would learn to pee in the toilet bowl so we need not clear the newspaper so often
but i doubt it will ever happen considering how long we took to toilet train him!

HECATE SPEAKS

had drama today
so 9 of us are in the provisional ex-co
we planned a bbq today!
i felt that it was kinda messy
like all of us were so excited
everyone trying to do a little bit
and so everyone was talking at the same time
as they say "too many cooks spoil the soup"
but well as ferly said it is our first time working together so hope it improves

then met steph and stuff(lisa) and ron at bk fareast
walked around town for a while
then we headed to parkway for ban mian
again we took 36 thinking there would not be jam as we were earlier this time
but no such luck!
then had drama
practiced speech today
so kinda relax
met mum and titi h on my way home on the bus

watched ami finals
no preference who should win!

anyway it was my last pe for the term
so juz took the chance
mr liew didnt even noe i wasnt there apparently!

so i skipped pe to watch shrek!

and since none of us were experienced in taking neo prints

MAN FUT TONG

man fat tong old folks home is sucking out all the life in me
as in literally
feel so tired and depressed after going to visit
and it doesnt make it better that jolynn and jason suddenly decides to abandon me and not turn up
so there's this lady that keeps on crying and stroking and kissing my hand she kept on trying to tell me something but couldn't figure out wat
then there's this other one that keeps telling me to call her grandson teck y to tell him to meet her there and that she will wait there for him till he comes
i said ok
hope she will realise soon enuff that he aint coming
then there's this other lady who scolded me for not bringing food stuff for them to eat but its not my fault! we are not allowed to bring anything!

today was ultra slack but tiring in a way
had to stay back for pw block period
spent most of the time slacking in the canteen and library
lina and lee pin my grp members were sick
leaving me evan and lisa to do the work
surprisingly ms teh was impressed with our research done in 3 hrs
and actually said that our group was promising! haha

gp period mr glasgow was talking bout mass media and the effects of it on children
so mr glasgow said something like" if i pointed a gun at jolynn wat would she do?"
and jolynn being our class porn* i said "she'll strip"
it was freaking funny the whole class laffed non stop.

jason was showing off his boxers and then his fren mark passed by and mark also showed off his boxers and said that they wanted to wear the same boxers another day n show it off together.retards.

i was about to enter the class when he walked out
so i walked away really quickly

but then was quite hp that i was not gonna haf tuition so i could do more shopping with jolynn

arhhhs tomoro got old folks home.. dun feel comfortable there man... barely able to speak to them and i feel as though they look at us in disgust... somehow... hahas maybe its juz me!

i think this is one of the ill effects of hanging out with jolynn too much. ahhaha
anyway wanted to try their new drink but they keep advertising their caramel one and i hate caramel . and i didnt noe that they had a plain coffee one
so my qn was could they make one without caramel thats all

shit my shin is hurting
its been going on for sometime but the pain was bearable
so was ignoring it
but after running today the pain worsened
so planning to go see a doc this tues ( its a 5.10 day!)

ooh met sheila on the streets while on our way to get jave's butterfly balloon!
walked all the way from far east to centre point to get this pink and purple balloon saying happy birthday and it is decorated with butterflies and hearts!
gonna collect it on sun cos gonna give him on mon
alreadi worrying how i am gonna bring it home and bring it to sch the next day. . . but i will come up with something!

GETTING THE KICK OUT OF LIFE,LIVING THROUGH OTHERS

that's wat some ppl without a life are doing.. coming up with weird ideas about wat other ppl are doing with their life...and getting all excited about it.. the real hard fact is that no one else cares!

my com is FINALLY repaired so i am like super :)

today sch was so slack
had chem tut.math tut.break.chem lect.
then left for THE chinese high for drama syf
cj did quite well
it was a scene in a mental institution
where even the nurse was a little cranky!
the message brought across was that
sometimes the ppl in the outside world ( as in not in the mental institution) are more zanged up then the ppl in the institution
the ppl in there are more humble and down to earth and they dare to be different..and that the ppl from the outside world bother too much about what others think of them!
hcjc did super well!
although it consisted of only 5 girls and 5 stools as props
it totally entertained me!
it was like a "girl" themed performance
super fun.
talked bout the normal conflicts or problems in a females life..
like their marriage.. their weight or dieting.. their partner.. waiting for an important call and the society
AND GUESS WHO WAS ONE OF THE JUDGES. . . .
NORLINA! haha she actually recognised me and said hi!
saw jia yan also.. mj drama was there too!

after that made my way to orchard to meet kenny ron lis and steph where we went to borders to read mags then went to coffee club to "study" did very little of that lah.. crapped around mostly!

voting for the sc has started
today there was a short 30s presentation and a Q&A session
totally hilarious!
this guy kept asking the whole sc if they can act as good role models
then sc asked him wat his definition of role model is
he said the pope..
and it juz went on and on about role model!
then there's the this issue bout publicity- if the sc's-to-be were doing it for popularity
then some said that they were not enthusiastic when presenting themselves
basically i feel that in this sorta thing everyone will haf their own opinions and will find fault with everything that they do
but some ppl juz gotta understand that no matter how much u hate a person
u still gotta admit he has leadership quality
i was also quite tired of ppl saying that they wanna join counicil yo serve god, the sch, the students, be our voices and stuff.. i mean more conviction can!?

today also had a skit by the necessary stage about family
enjoyed it !

had him for 1st 3 mths

and he still has the same effect on me.
when i was filling up my burette i was like so scared cos he was eyeing me so closely lah!

then shopped at bugis for awhile then went for drama

well during drama
ms keat wanted us to hit panic button
as we were 3 weeks away from the exams and we werent exactly ready yet
ended quite late then came back the finale of survivor!

cos i felt he played with more wit
so thot he deserved it more
but since he proposed to amber during the reunion on national tv [which was sooooo sweet] i guess no difference who wins anymore
cos they would be sharing their win anyways

GOD PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE

have been MIA on my blog for over a week!
not only have i been kinda busy and tired with school
my com is majorly screwed up as in like totally lagging!
as in when i click something it would take 10 secs to register what i clicked !
so yeah havent been using the com for that reason!
and the problem hasnt been solved so gonna take awhile to type everything!

SATURDAY 24 APRIL

today was the speak good english campaign performance at the arts house near vic theatre! had practice at my drama centre before that and realised that we werent exactly prepared! couldnt rememeber some of our lines and stuff so all of us kinda got worried and started panicking.. so in the taxi on our way there we were memorising like mad! we then huddled to practice our lines together outside e arts house and it actually worked!none of us forgot our lines! so relieved! ohhh and also found out today that ms keat my drama teacher has a phobia of clowns .. not exactly phobia but juz a fear !haha it was damn funny! at the arts house there were clowns blowing balloons and entertaining the children...i was walking with her then she started walking mega fast so i was wondering what was the hurry.."i'm scared of clowns" ...i juz burst out laffing and ppl started looking at me... i mean how can a grown adult be afraid of clowns!

after the performance went to town with mabel and harrold where they ate macs while i waited to meet bekka von jav and ron to watch 50 first dates!finally everyone arrived but ron left half way... belloc came too! well basically we couldnt get tix for 7 plus show so me and jav couldnt watch but the rest caught the 9 plus show! so after much discussion and disagreement we finally decided to eat at kfc.. crapped alot there! haha.. was sooo pissed that i didnt get drumsticks [the only chicken part i eat] and got some other funny part instead.. was singing the chinese version of falling in love with you but changed the words and it even made sense.. then somehow someone started to say that i date the deaf, the mute and the blind because only the deaf can take my singing , the blind cannot see how i look like and the mute cannot tell me to shut up! haha and it became even funnier when a mute man came to our table to sell us something.. the rest were urging me to support my "boyfrens" .. and we also found out that kfc was the ambassodor for the deaf .. so tyco rites!?? :)

SUNDAY 25 APRIL

couldnt wake up early for mass today... was too tired!
so planned to go for the 6 pm mass after the performance...
i felt that today's performance was not as good as yesterdays because a kid’s balloon suddenly burst which put most of us in a giggling fit and lost concentration… but it was still good overall!
went to parkway after that to meet my mum before going for mass but after a while started to feel a little sick.. like I’m on cloud 9 or something.. very weird feeling I must say.. my dad said that I was juz finding an excuse to not go for mass.. so in the end went home to rest … felt a lot better later in the night!

MONDAY 26 APRIL

juz another day at school only that we had a mother tongue lecture where there was a chinese play and where some ppl sang qing tian by jay chou! listening to the song now!


TUESDAY 27 APRIL

did the 5 items test for pe today.. kinda happy cos got a for everything.. but still failed 2.4 (by 30 secs!) so still stuck with mass pe! supposed to have drama practice but my teacher fell ill so cancelled!

WEDNESDAY 28 APRIL

received our drama tees during drama today! esther designed it and I think it is one of the nicest self-designed tees I have come across! we had to come up with a short skit again today.. so as we were coming up with ideas I decided to tell a joke .. something that has been going around cj .. or at least my class who have taken lameness to a whole new level..

one day in a mental instituition a doctor decides to see if any of his patients have recovered and if he could release some of them.. so he drew a door on the wall with the door knob and key hole and everything else to make it seem like a real door. he then told the patients that they could leave if they could open that door.. all the patients rushed to it! trying to turn the door knob .. banging on the door .. slamming themselves against the door.. but there was this one guy who juz stood at the corner looking at the rest of the ppl as if they were mad.. the doctor thought that he might have recovered so went up to talk to him
DOC: why arent you rushing with them to open the door
PATIENT: (looking as if the doctor asked him a dumb qn) how are they suppose to escape when I am holding the key to the door?

yup so decided to act that scene out .. it was quite fun.. another group acted out charmed and it was hilarious!

later went to town with ferly .. went to eat long jons and there were like a whole bunch of youngsters there smoking their life away! and we were saying how kuai we were compared to them and all!

THURSDAY 29 APRIL

after pe today went to orchard with jav.. went to eat long jons ! I know I went to eat it like on weds only but i haf this sudden craving for long jon’s fries and I can get quite obsessive sometimes esp with food…

FRIDAY 30 APRIL

short short day! went to school at 9.15 for singing practice – the songs we plan to sing when we go to the old folks home next sat .. we practiced 3 songs L-O-V-E , stand by me and lean on me.

LABOUR DAY!
nothing much happened ….was supposed to go for the vj fun fair with ferly and gang but last minute I couldn’t go cos my chem teacher suddenly wanted to come … so went for drama then parkwaying then church! ooh my daddy cooked pasta ! niceeeeeeeeee…..


SUNDAY 2 MAY

watched last samurai on dvd today! very nice show although it is not exactly the kind of show I would watch (don’t really like shows that involve fighting and violence!) yup but it was meaningful lah.. bout loyalty and all that!

MONDAY 3 MAY

went to eat CLAYPOT RICE at far east with javier ! then made him go girl shopping with me! haha was torturous for him... kept complaining and complaining! i think this is the longest post ever lah! whoo hooooo!!!
