ok i'm back in the cyber cafe
my dad's checking football odds while i get 1 hr of internet surfing time
been shopping all day and i must say the ppl here arent as friendly as those in sydney.. in fact they are kinda snobbish
watched a really really funny episode of south park on the telly yesterday starring michael jackson
we are getting sooooo tired shoppping already like since 25 nov we've been walking and walking and walking.. not that i'm complaining but its getting to my feet
oooh and i bought marykate and ashley undies! its suppose to be for kids but yeah !
while walking today we saw this strip club where they do lap dance! haha me and my dad were so tempted to go in but decided not to!
so tomoro we decided to just sleep in and come to the cyber cafe and chill out at gloria jeans ( a really good cafe) and basically take it easy
still havent gotten louie py and jesmine anything yettt.. cant find anything that they might like at a good price
ok.. i better save some internet time for tomoro!

RESORT ON JALAN PARI KIKIS


last 2 days felt like a holiday in a resort with the best company ever
actually it was jac's house - cherrydale
on wed we had a marv dinner with my potato salad
i came to a conclusion that i had better marry a guy that can actually cook for the sake of my children or else they would be eating potato salad for breakfast lunch and dinner!
so criteria for marriage : looks cooking skills
then we watched the 9 oclock chinese show
i'm actually kinda hooked onto it ..its damn fun making fun of the acting.. its damn fake like everyone tries to act damn tuff when they are actually NOT !
then it was cut cake time! i declare i am ferly's brownies #1 fan !
especially with the ben and jerry's vanilla ice cream on top! i seriously ate ALOT!


our beach house, our party planner company, our band and basketball team aside we now want to start up a restauraunt together my potato salad as appetiser, and my vongole and ferly's lasagne as main course and ferly's brownie cake as desert! who wants to bet it will be a success?? but under chris's management i'm a little unsure...i think 10 yrs down the road she'll still be the same...


we started off thursday playing some basket ball where ferly took some wonderful pictures of us looking all pro and ahem some unglam pictures of me lah.. she's out to ruin my reputation i swear!! we also took an exact shot of a picture taken when we were sec 3 also after playing basketball..like exact position and poses..


then headed down to syed roti prata shop
we must have looked so pro cos the roti prata man asked if we were a volley ball team!
then we told him we were a basket ball team and he even believed that i was captain! i think we got what it takes !
i finally had bandung dinosaur-something i had been craving for since i tried it over at bukit timah after the hike thingy!
actually they didnt sell such a thing as bandung dinosaur and they created it just for me though they gave me wierd looks..
we were also introduced to a whole new world of tissue and plaster pratas.. just weird terms given to pratas...


we went back to jac's to watch dvds
watched raise your voice starring hilary duff and guess what chris cried! haha actually i heard ferly's sniffing but it was just her runny nose but then i saw chris's red teary eyes and i was like " hahaha chris is crying!!!!" and raise your voice is hardly tear-inducing.. so yeah chris is just the biggest cry baby ever!
after that "sad" show, we watched the show that teresa brought and lets just say my mind got pretty corrupted after that
we also watched part of the incredibles was kind of a yawn so we stopped and went up to jac's cosy study to brainstorm on our joint blog thats in the making
we came up with url names like

then it was lip smackers online shopping time!
jac and ferls were just giving me an idea of those that they liked so i could buy some back ! my gawd they had such a big range that i can forsee myself standing in front of the rack first choosing between colours, packaging and glitter or non glitter then choosing between the 10 flavours available. so to prevent such a thing from happening i came back and went to the site again to familarise myself with their products.. its like doing research.. if only i am that serious with my studies!


tea time came and we were fed with polar sugar rolls some greenish- rum cake and curry puffs and of course ferly's home baked brownies


we are seriously such slobs.. we eat then laze around like couch potatoes in front of the tv then we laze around again thinking of our blog url then we eat again.. if we continue like that we can just use " fatslobbygirls-R-us" as our url!


so to get out of the house jac's dad brought us for an excursion to changi
even after living in the east for 17 yrs i never went to some of the places he brought us to
driving down the road where we could see the planes land and take off with the windows winded down and music blasting and the wind in our hair! i could just imagine us being friends for a lifetime!


then it was time to go back home singing britney's "hit me baby one more time"

THE COOK IN ME


there is absolutely no cook in meeee
i almost cut of my nail while chopping onions
and my neck is strained from looking down the entire time while chopping onions, spring onions and potatoes
see i'm making potato salad for our lil party later
i was once a pro at making the potato salad
but my cooking skills have become so rusty since home econs in sec2
i am a slow chopper and i have no idea how long potatoes take to boil
so i'm here blogging while my baby potatoes have been boiling since forever but still refuse to become soft
crap its raining how am i supposed to go ferly's house..
hmmm.. at the rate my potatoes are boiling i might as well go straight to jac's
my maid is shouting from the kitchen " tess!!! you're killing me" i have no idea where that came from.. hahah okok.. i better go tend to my potatoes now or we'll be having mash potatoes instead of potato salad for jac's birthday party

anyway we have ferly on the electric guitar, louie on the classical guitar, jac as backup singer, and me on the drums!
chris and py u better say what you wanna play or the position will be snapped up!
we don't have a lead singer though...
so any interested applicants please fill up the application form stating any singing experience. applicants will be shortlisted and if you're lucky we will call you back for an audition.
haha ok.. that's just crap..our band doesnt play..so there is NO application form, NO auditions whatsoever.


ok so the chinese exam was not too good
so i am hoping i would just pass it and scrap chinese once and for all!
well i blame starbucks @ siglap for the horrible study environment
i mean they played songs bout weird animals like elephants and what not.. and had funny words like "ding-a-ling-a-ling" so the "study" session was more of a laffing session. then they started to play christmas songs..and it was pouring outside.. perfect christmas ambience.. and so could not study again.

talking about chris it was her birthday yesterday
woke up at the break of dawn to travel across singapore to queensway to surprise the birthday girl at 9 am at her doorstep with breakfast
ate, watched a bit of tv, took pics then went to orchard to have lunch and swensens's earthquake as her birthday cake. i think turning 17 over night has an effect on her man.. she didnt catch any of the jokes and if she did it was like after 5 mins. next up jac's birthday party tomoro! wheez!

op went quite well..only that i got the cow as the moderator or something..

i was quite impressed with our presentation like everything went smoothly and my qNa section whoa..i was like did i actually say that cos it made sense..usually i say the stupidest and lamest things under stressful or unforeseen circumstances


haha my aunt is back with a toy mike for me that lights up! you see i usually go around the house singing when i am bored and usually i use my samsung hp or the tv remote.. now i am upgraded to a fake mike! wheeezzz.. on my way to my singing career!



my family has a flee sale (did that sound rite?) i dun think there's such a thing ..anyway..we haf a sale going on on sat at a flee market near tanglin mall or something! i cant wait..so i'm digging out all my crappy clothes that i wore in my teeny bopper age(12-14) what the hell was i thinking!!?? i am so embarressed that i am thinking i should burn it all to remove all evidence of my unfashionable past..actually i dunt think it was that bad only that it was the fashion at that time .. u know those huge fubu or jnco jeans..my mother laffed whenever i wore those jeans claiming that i was doing singapore a favour by sweeping the streets with my jeans..ok so just gonna make a few bucks outta the sale for my trip to aussie! where i can shop and fill my wardrobe again! i cant friggin' wait! only 22 more days!


i'm taking part in some newpaper contest to win a mp3 player..i think that's the only way i'm gonna get a mp3.. i dunno why but my dad doesnt understand my need for a mp3 now that my com cannot dl songs and i dun have msn so i am totally inaccesible to cool songs and now i'm suffering from music starvation! actually i dun even think i'll win.. never been lucky with such things like lucky draws.. the only thing i won was a sasha bear from citibank..1 of those guess the number of i-forgot-what in the container.


yeeks ferly reminded me i didnt go for mass for the all saints or all souls thingy! if i had gone, it would be going to church 3 days in a row if i'm not wrong! actually i didnt even celebrate haloween this year.. so funless..and its all pw's fault..nevermind christmas is coming! cant wait to start christmas shopping!
