GOODBYE 2004

had a very low key new year's celebration
spent the whole day at home doing alittle homework and watching cnn reports about the tsunami disaster and with the rainy weather it was depressing
my family is irritating the hell outta me.. they are like bugging me bout everything today.. it all started with forgetting to switch off my com last night before sleeping then it led to me going out too much and it finally ended with a quarrel bout washing dishes that i refused to do... dammmmn dumb but it happens :\

2004 has been a great year anyhows
it went by really fast
with many new experiences
learning many new things
making many new friends
and getting closer to old ones
many laughs and jolly good times!
2004 has been a blast !

lets hope that with the end of 2004 brings an end to all this suffering

i cant dance for NUTSSSSSS.. i dance like how a dog with 1 leg would dance
we're doing MJ's THRILLER!! which is soooo coooll
like we do the exact steps in m.jackson's mtv!
the other song is a bhangra song and the steps are majooorrrr hard to catchhhhh
we're gonna have new pe shirts next yr !! dri fit material!! yays!

embarressing stuff that happened to me today:
*reaching school late thinking that there would be many others who would be late too but nooo.. everyone else was pretty punctual. thank god i was only 8 mins late
*we had to introduce ourselves and say something interesting about ourselves . i wanted to say that i am always late for stuff but i was afraid that they might sack me as facil so i just said that i didnt function well in the mornings... howwww lameee can i gettttttttttttt!!?????
*INCENDIUM already had a bad name for returning 20 mins late from lunch. and it was partly my fault cos the place alicia and i ordered food from took freaking long to prepare our fooddd!!!!
*having to dance the mass dance with my partner in front of everyone else ( and i have said i have nooooo coordination whatsoever)

theres a slipper stealer who like stole 3 slippers from my house !!! cant stand itttt!! stole my dads new quiksilver one, my old roxy one and my aunts . we are planning to get a spy cam to catch the personnn!! haha so fun ! like some fbi or something!

the high one gets from running through a quiet lane in the rain with cold raindrops falling on ones face and the chilly breeze blowing at you - amazing.

been lazing around all day watching friends till my cousin and family came over for dinner
now they're gambling and i've only stopped because i've been losing alot of money!
and i taught casper a new trick! to pick cards with his teeth!

today the weirdest thing happened! i got a msg from ferly's fone ghost..

well i'm not too sure if it was a ghost though... maybe it was santa!

but she claimed she didnt send me the msg...

and her fone ghost wouldnt stop msging!

to my amazement i really woke up at 6.30 AM -having only 4 hrs of sleep cos i watched what a girl wants on cable, made my way down to town and walked past the many rows of shops that were closed cept for one that was already bustling with music and chatter - MNG.

i was never a big fan of mango but i thot it would be fun to join in this bazaar idea of waking up in the morning just to buy a few tops. and it was fun until 12 pm, after lunch and after going to 5 mangos, i was tired , drained and of course i started to whine to chris. after some yami yogurt and stoning on the steps of taka we perservered all the way to sim lim to get my cam fixed and visited another mango on the way which brings it to a total of 5 mangos in 1 day. impressive or what?! but dig this chris after going home went to suntec for the sale againn and bought more clothes and shes going again tomoro!! i seriously never thot of her to be a compulsive shopper..obviously i was wrong.

been watching disc after disc since dinner

i needa pick up a present at orchard tomoro

uggghhh one of those last min presents that my aunt forgot to get

i'm still considering though..

i wanted to stay home and complete the rest of the discs or go to the beach to cycle/walk my dog/run to make up for the amount of food i will be eating during the christmas dinners.

i was also thinking of going to get my mp3 as promised by my dad but i cant decided which kind to get yettt soo yahhhhhhhh....i have no idea what is my plan for tomoro.

i'm done with christmas shopping! i dont ever have to plough through the busy streets of orchard any more!!

part I of xmas shopping yesterday was not that successful but tiring notheless 11-11!! imagine that!!

part II of xmas shopping today was lots better

i even bought myself a black ripcurl trucker cap!!! yay! my cap collection is growing!! i seem to be getting stuff that are not listed in my christmas list..

chrissy is planning sentosa outing on the 28th but i cant gooo cos of the facil thingy.. arrgghhh hope they burn in hell!!

tomoro will be a relaxed outing or rather date with my one and only at the hopefully not too busy suntec and parkway

highlight of the day:

* seeing chris doin the spastic ac 2005 mass dance in the pac plaza toilet.. the steps were nice ..its her dancing that was the problem.. and apparently she thinks "she's the bomb!"

* witnessing an accident along orchard road..poor guy

* wearing the top saying "boys stink" and seeing the reactions of ppl. and i got to mention the best out of the many. " wah sia boys stink ahhhh... luckillleeeeeee i not a boy.. i'm a man..." . yeap think however you wish.

* my first christmas card from ferly... though its not posted!!! but i forgive you... considering i have been sitting on my christmas cards and havent even written one.. who thinks i should get on with the writing of christmas cards soon? or maybe i shall just save the cards for next year....

and whats the problem of being single hurrrr

thank god i meet my auntie only like during the christmas and chinese new yr periods

just because her daughter dates doesnt mean i have to riteeeeeeee

i've got a long day ahead of me tomoro

the mission is to get 8 christmas presents in the period of 11am-9pm

and my mum asked me to look for 2 presents for small kids..

what do boys aged 8 like now? are they still into game boy or xbox?

what kind of school bags do they carry? bat man? i know power rangers is passe so spongebob? or is that considered uncool too? i dont want my god brother to be mocked by the other kids either...maybe i shall pick on a few small boys to stalk around town tomoro

and a girl aged 5... that's not as difficult cos i was a 5yr old girl once.. so yeah i think i would have better luck with that

i pray that the rest of singapore are done with their christmas shopping and so town will not be as crowded as it has been the past few days and i cross my fingers that the guy above controlling the weather will be kind.

i've been busy burning cds for my maid who is paying me $5 bucks for each
its my new money making scheme
so far i burnt 3 cds already!
ok so now i can get better christmas presents!

talking bout maids i went to a maid agency yesterday to get a new maid after my current one goes back
and the ppl there treat maids like dogs cannn.. i even treat casper better
they dont call their name but instead shout and scream and sometimes they dont even call them by their names they refer to them as "phillippines" or "indonesia" whereever they're from
and there was this maid that went to toilet without permission and she was punished and she had to clean the floor again, something she just finished doing
what rubbish rite
oh and the worst thing is that when they arent doing anything they have to face the walls!!
i was like so pissed can

ok i'm goin to sim lim sq with my dad to look at lap tops and buy more rewritable cds so i can make more money!
i hope i come back with an mp3.. but i doubt i will...

THE ART OF PROCRASTINATING by TESSA NG

i was so bored that i decided to change my template and apparently i'm not as bad at this thing as i thot i was!!

ohhhh 2 days ago my 155 bus broke downn!!! its the first time the bus that i was in broke down!! and i was so lucky that it broke down right outside my lane! so i just walked down the bus and walked home while everyone else had to wait for another 155!
and my hp is kinda cranking up! i am utterly overjoyed! now i've got a good reason to get it traded in before its really spoilt! but the thing is i cant decide which sort of fone to get.. should i get the samsung E 800C or a nokiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???

i went to check my eyesight today and i think i'll end up 1 eye blind

my left is 150 and my right is 50

i can just put on those 1 lensed things ppl wore in the olden days

ok now that ferly is in m'sia i thot it would be a good time to take over her trade of making honey joy
and i think my whole family is gonna die of diabetes
and i got 2 tuperwares of honey joy
anybody who wants some sugar overload pls tag and save my family of 2 tuperwares of oversweetened honey joy

last nights oc was so so so so so so sadddd..........

* i have a whole load of christmas cards to write and i havent even started and its what 8 days to the big day
* its back to school in about 2 weeks and i havent even did/attempted the hol homework given. but one big step towards completing it was actually finding it this morn... and whats the deal with calling it holiday homework... it sounds sooo.... happy
* i went to parkway this morning in my pjs .. i know YUCKS.. but thank god i didnt meet anyone cept for my drama teacher
* not wanting to change my friendster pics and linking the new photos to my blog until ferly made a big fuss bout me being lazy.. not big but just fuss..yeahh.. the friendster pics i've done but the linking i've not

christmas shopping is not going too well
i've got 38 dollars and 65 cents to buy 8 presents for the family
which means i can only spend $4.80 on each person
what can i buy with $4.80!!!!
i'm a girl in desperate need of money........
and the worst part is that the more i christmas shop the more i see things that i wanna get and my own christmas list gets longer and longer.. gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

1:my ears were block when i tookthe lift but i had to press my nose to stop it..it just didnt come out right..

btw..tessa's a terror when it comes to stay over..she steals your blanket and sleeps on it..and i had to pull it from her butt but it didnt work..(i wonder why)..she makes u stay up soo late..i was almost dying and when i really couldnt couldnt take it..she was still in her zesty mood..so u can imagine the angst...hahaz..oh and u left out the good part abt me...i was the michealangelo!!! i painted the 'menses' pic!!! and i made hot choc for u all k~!~!~!

GOT A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YA

drama orientation plans are going quite fine
our beautiful drama banner and wand cum flyers are done with very slapstick phrases i must say " dont be square.. join drama!" "reach for the moon cos even though u fall u'll be among the stars!" and after awhile we got sick of the stars and syima wrote " choose wisely bitch"
of course that will not be given to the new batch of J1s..
and we got our new drama jingle which goes like this:
D-R-A-M-A (x3)
join drama as your CCA! ( sung in the tune of bingo)
then went off to eat yami yogurt again... seriously i am so hooked on to peach yogurt with sunflower seeds!

onto our hotel stay....

the arrival of the 1st 2 tourist and their chaperon at 2++
the 2 tourist looked calm and cool
but behind closed doors of 2628 we acted like we never stayed in a hotel before
we jumped on beds .. we looked out of windows ..we took fotos in bathtubs.. we checked out the fridge .... and went to see the not-up-to-our-standard pool
then we waited the arrival of the other guests.. first up was our pimp
then i remember taking the lift dozen times up and down to bring the rest of our guests up
the lift that blocks chris's NOSE and the rest of our ears
we went supermarket shopping and decided to buy sushi and soon we were acting like jap tourist!
up in our room was a gambling den- no money involved though
thank god for that or else i would be broke by now although i think i was pretty good at heart attack or "gaaaa" when ever i got won!!
then the ac shits arrived and we got ready for dinner at pasta mania
a walk to taka and wisma just to have the tourist feel
back in the hotel watching america's next top model
and rushing off to catch our first ever midnight movie -after the sunset
then it was off to glutton square where we chomped on quality food like mee pok, bbq chicken wings and carrot cake!
first time walking along town at 2++am and i did a cartwheel along town !! and climbed onto one of those painted lions! what cool shit
walk back singing classic sing-along-songs like everytime(a1) and if i let you go (westlife) and sometimes (britney s.)
back in the hotel
lazing around with jes and jac falling fast asleep
popping a glass of sparkling juice or according to chris -champange
hot chocolate to induce the moving of bowels
another round of taitee and card games in our pjs
louie didnt win much but won the prize for most striking pjs hands down
then one by one we fell asleep leaving me and louie as champ owls surviving till the wee hours of 5.30 am and i can still remember the last thing i said to her " santa and his elves and making presents right now"
me sleeping through jacs and jes's wake up call
and waking up at 9.30
and again we were up and about cept for grumpy chrissy poo who didnt want to snuggle up with me !
we ate our last meal in the hotel room and said good bye to a preview of what staying together in our beach house might be like...
what can u expect from our next hotel stay:
*me getting my snuggle with chris
*me being able to sing more than 1 line of I DREAM cos i'm learning the lyrics
*more elaborate costumes other than caps flowers and sunglasses..
and i hope it'll be soon!

SAVE SANTA THE TRIP. BE NAUGHTY.

have been reminded by dickee(chris) that i havent been blogging so this post is dedicated to her
actually havent been blogging cos i have been utterly lazy and busy with drama and unpacking
yes i'm still unpacking from my australia trip though i've been back since the 8th
i'm not a slow packer just that i get restless doing something for too long so i go on to do other things after taking maybe 2 tees out
unpacking is the worst .
at least packing is exciting like you are looking forward to something.. unpacking is like all the fun is lost, the good times are over.. you are back where you have to lead a normal , non-holidaying life.. which sucks
i've decided that i wanna live in australia . that's my life goal. but considering the hell of a uni fees in some uni i checked out in the gold coast (68 k compared to singapore's approx 18 k per yr) and high cost of living i think i would be happy with just a honey moon there
everyone wants a honey moon in the maldives or paris or something more romantic and i want to go australia i know i'm crazy ( according to ferly aussie isnt a romantic place but i beg to differ)

ok so my trip to sydney melbourne and gold coast was fantastic
only that i am really sick of fish and chips and calamari and actually anything with flour and deep fried for that matter
and that i really missed chilli sauce and bubble tea
i tried skate boarding - something i've been wanting to learn since sec 3 but i did pathetically staying on the skateboard for 10 secs before landing so hard on the floor on my butt and i gave up the sport immediately
and i was never around so many children for such extended periods of time before and like after the 4th day it was driving me crazy .. imagine this 1 suv with 3 kids crying or screaming or all wanting some of ur attention on a 1 hr road trip.. not to mention i have motion sickness
then my uncle introduced us to this chrurchy thing where there was a band playing and dancing and praying and sharing and mary's picture and good food.. me and my dad kept looking at the watch and wondering when it will end and i ended up baby sitting and playing basket ball leaving my poor dad alone inside to fend for himself
i saw topless girls suntanning too and there was this guy who got fined for taking snaps of some women on his camera fone
weather there was bad too.. it was raining maybe 9 days out of the 14 days i was there.. and it was supposed to be summer
their tv entertainment there was baddddd.. they were showing the 2nd episode of 1 tree hill there and ( oh crappppp i just remembered i missed one tree hilll toodayyyyyyyy!!!!uggggghhhhhhhhh oh gawdddd i missed last weeks tooooo!!!!! and this weeks occccccccccc !!!!! this is badddd my world is coming to an end................................................. ok i've recovered..) the re runs of the first season of oc
and taxi fare there is like day light robbery. from my house to parkway would cost about 3.80 in singapore but there would cost maybe 12 aussie bucks! you could go broke if you are the type who is always late for stuff and have to resort to cabs.
woooooo shopping was fantastic with a capital F. i spent 800 dollars. i just couldnt stop .. everything looked so eyecatching and buyable... my dad also spent quite abit on ripcurl and billabong shorts and 2 pairs of quicksilver and ripcurl slippers he was trying to get into the whole australian fashion thing and was extremely proud to see those surferdudes wearing shorts similar to his
i am also so happy with the outcome of my shopping spree
i finally got my trucker cap (the one with the netted back which chris thinks is a waste of money cos it does not serve the purpose of a cap because rain water can still come in contact with your hair and ended calling me a vainpot) which my dad made me vow that i would make use of or else he would do something drastic to my head but thats only because i buy lots of hats but end up showcasing them instead of using them
i also got a belt thats so totally cool that cost a bomb in singapore but i got it for quite a good price there
and of course swim wear.

my calves hurt so much from standing so long in heels today for my drama performance in the esplanade.. heels are the worst things ever... slippers are my best friend
had lots of fun performing something i had only 1 rehearsal but the crowd was kinda dead like no matter how wacky our costumes were ( it was a kids show) they were not the least bit facinated.. i think its just how singaporean kids are they are so unresponsive

later i met dickee and ferly at suntec
but ferly left soon after so i was left with the responsibility of dissing dickee alone
omg dont you think "DISSING DICKEE" has a nice ring to it
its a wat do u call those thingggggssssss shit i forgot.. is it illiteration?
it sounds like a movie or song tittle dont u think!
she took some unglam pics of me at kfc eating _ pieces of chicken drumsticks (yes i only eat drumsticks) and i will not reveal how many pieces i ate and dickee you better not say either
oh and ate those popcorn shaker thingy .. i love the garlic and pepper seasoning.. all my hair is gonna fall of tomoro i tell u
she also took a picture of me next to the "dickson" sign..seriously the things she makes me do!
we plan to go for "back to school" shopping for school essentials after christmas
stuff to get:
1) cool wrapping paper to cover all the boring tys and textbook covers
2) pencil case/box ( me and dickee need not buy this cos we got ours from ausssieeee!!)
3) stationary
4) a new bag ( me and dickee want the same kind)

but never mind after drama banner and flyer making on mon i got ferly's slumber party at meritus mandrin to look forward to! what a posh slumber location rites! well only the best for amies! haha
we have also come up with various themes to dress up
1) punk ... red and black striped socks... gothic make up.. black 3/4s.. think good charlotte
2) slutty french girls and louie as our pimp
3) jap school girls and chriss as the geisha girl
4) retro
so if you see a group of girls walking around town on mon and tues dressed sluttly or weirdly dont give us weird stares .....we arent crazy or maybe a just little........

omg i just got the email about the facil camp and i am gonna spend new yr's eve in schooooooooolllll can u believe itttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!! *faints*

ahhh gold coast is sooooo much fun!
tried entering the casino the other day
but my dad said that i had better ask for permission first
then we were bargaining with the guard that i was 17+ and i wont play anything and that i would stick by my dad the entire time ,all he did was 1 simple movement - shake his head
so a night alone in the hotel room with one tree hill and american music awards!
not badd

its my dad's birthday today so as celebration he doesnt want to do mega shopping so its strolling for today
he actually twisted his ankle yesterday and its all swollen
and he says its a form of blessing so he can do less walking with me!

ahh its just 20 days to XMAS!

its a cold rainy day here in melbourne
its so cold that i had to get an extra jacket - a bright yellow jacket that reads BRAZIL
its as if i support brazil's soccer
i'm soooo glad i'm leaving for gold coast tomorrow cos the weather here is sooo lousy and i only brought skirts so my legs have been freezing
ohh and have i mentioned how dry my skin is!!?? i have barely any skin left considering most have peeled off due to the low humidity

visited chinatown today
alot of those pink frilly shops you know those that you can find in heeran or fareast
the key board i'm using right now bites monkey asss... some dude is using the com i have been using

there's singapore idol there tonight righttt???
wonder who will winnnn
when's the results hur??

ferly: its pink polka dotted ya know.. and its for kids. just tag if you want it and i'll try to find one of these cyber cafes in gold coast and get it for you anyway we are mka fans forever ! hahaha... anyway the lip smackers is the liquid one the one with circles on the packaging flavour: strawberry-kiwi. jac's is the tube kind... they dont write the names on the packages lah.. and her flavour is strawbery! yeah yeah meritus mandrin here we come!!!! yoohooooo!!!!
