    spent most of this week present shopping in town after school
    i think present getting is quite a difficult task especially when u are getting a whole lot of presents shared by a whole lot of ppl
    i might need a whole month to recover from my financial loss man
    then there's louie's and jolynn's birthday coming up
    what was wrong with couples 18 yrs back around october huh
    why are there sooooo many pple born in late july early aug?
    i bet hospitals were boooming with babies around this period back then

    talking bout babies me christine and javier went baby clothes window shopping for christine's about-to-be-born neice
    and it was dammmn funny cos we kept embarressing jave by making him sound like he made some girl pregnant but didnt want to admit it
    hah i bet he'll never want to shop with us again

    another funny thing that happened during present shopping
    was with richard at paragon and he walked straight into the glass door of prints
    and there was a loud gong sound la
    his faced turned sooooo red
    all i could do was laff and laff
    even the shop assistant couldnt hide his laughter

    all that shopping has left me really tired
    and i gotta catch up on all the studying i havent been doing
    so my weekend will be studying and resting and maybe a little surprising!

    .the big eighteen.

    yesterday's birthday celebrations beat the other 17 hands down!
    started with a five-way call at 12 am with ferly alicia engjoo and nic!
    alot of laughing and it was kinda messy but hah so fun!
    then at sch i was given my first present and it wins the award for the weirdest present i've EVER gotten
    a SAW. yep . a SAW. and if you want to know who the joker is, its arun
    and his reasoning was that presents have to be different and dangerous and he claims that it symbolises removing all obstacles in my way.. it came with a realllly nice card too though!
    and school went by slowly while i abused my power to make pple do things for me just cos its my birthday
    then after school there was this thing in the canteen
    everyone met there and i had a slice of coffee bean tiramisu cake
    nic ho and his usual speech and birthday song
    and opening of presents
    and lots of photo taking
    as you can see it was sooo much fun
    whoa but not over yet still got part 2
    we made our way to swensens (my palace) for ice cream cake and some on the house firehouse thing and to take more and more photos
    and nic and darren mixed rootbeer, chilli sauce, salt, pepper, water and dunno what else and got me to drink it
    it was sooo yucky i almost spit it all out and whats worse was that i found out later that nic's saliva was in the mixture tooo
    and the day celebrations ended outside the orchard mrt station with brandon and his "look under there , underwhere?" joke
    thanks to nic bran darren qian greg loo engjoo charles jave ferly jolynn christine and richard and alicia the great party planners and for the cake too!
    then it was off to bedok for surprise birthday celebrations with AMIES
    i got blindfolded in the cab with ferls and louie with music blasting in my ears just so that i wont know where the secret birthday celebration location was at
    ended up at ferly's house where everyone else was and we had steamboat for dinner
    py and her chilli , the beef balls that couldn't be cooked, and great catching up session!
    played a few rounds of zhong ji mi ma and py sucks so bad at it la- not only she cant give the range properly she blurts out the number in mind!
    chris and her zhong ji mi ma with decimals!
    had another cake/brownie baked by ferly which was yummy
    cake count for 18th birthday :5
    thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes, smses, lovely presents, company, surprises and memories to last me a life time!

    the next few weeks will be filled with more birthdays! i'm going to be sooo broke but i think birthdays are sooo much fun!

    today was a dammmmn good day
    started out slow and all cos i was terribly sleepy
    spent my break sleeping in class and i think it was the deepest sleep i ever ever had in school
    and i forgot to bring my lecture notes AGAIN for bio lect so i spent the time half doodling half sleeping
    something really funny happened during bio tutorial
    my teacher walks in and we all stand and in the midst of greeting him
    jolynn: eh i feel sick.. i want to pon tomorrow!
    then our teacher asks us to sit and at the same time i said a little too loudly
    me : SIAAAANNN (directed to jolynn)
    and he thot i was saying it to him so he got quite mad and told me that if i was so sian i should get out of class
    i was like !!!????
    after school i had the drama farewell/step down party
    so no more cca for me!!
    it was a really small party cos some ppl didnt make it and stuff but we had good chocolate fondue with bananas, kiwis, marshmellows
    the j1s gave us really nice gifts in small boxes
    and for those who were there while we were waiting for our party to start, that guy guarding the pizzas was reallly from the maths society as i assumed! HAH how accurate can i get man!
    after drama, nic, darren, derek and i were at the canteen playing truth or dare and one of the dares was for nic to go ask for some pizza and they really gave us ! they even threw in 3 loaves of garlic bread!
    we headed down to little india to look for racial harmony day outfits and on the bus they were playing and talking so loudly that i pretended i didnt know them
    and at little india i bought an outfit almost immediately.. it was one of my fastest decisions ever!
    we were walking around for 15 mins then i saw that outfit and i decided to buy it almost immediately .. i really liked the colour
    i came home tried it on and its at least 2 sizes too big
    haha oh mannn how can places that sell clothes not have fitting rooms!!??
    and now i gotta go on and talk about shopping with those guys
    firstly they are super good at bargaining they either have charm that works on those shop owners or they really confuse the shopowners by all talking at the same time
    so they were bargaining for this guy's full suit thing and the shop owner agreed to sell it for 10 bucks
    they were trying on the sizes and choosing the different colours cos they were buying for their friends and all and after they were ready to pay the woman suddenly she said that it was 14 bucks each
    decided not to buy and the guy owner of the shop was scolding us all say that what kind of customers are we to try on, bargain so much and take photos and suddenly decide not to buy but every single one of us heard that it was $10 originally so it was not exactly our fault except for the bargaining part
    the guys then went to another shop and bought the same top and to another shop to buy sarongs
    haha cant wait to see everyone tomorrow!
    and all this took the guys more than an hour laaaaa
    me mao and alicia were sitting down slacking while they bargained and chose colours.. sometimes i think they're worse than girls!
    we ended up choosing for them the colours so we could hurry off to our next stop which was chinatown cos alicia wanted to get her chinese costume
    so mao the chinatown man led us and brought us to some highclass chinatown mall where they sold costumes for 100 bucks for a full set
    we later ended up at some small shop and alicia got her kiddy chinese suit the rest of us also got a chance to practice our chinese.. which was quite terrible
    a big thanks to nic for the pre-birthday swensen's earthquake treat
    it was hilarious cos we first had to each give a toast to something random
    then they sang one of nic's original happy birthday song, hoping that they might give us the birthday earthquake thing.. didnt quite work though
    so we left chinatown tired but each happily swinging our costumes in our little plastic bags

    past few days have been slacking and doing what nots
    now sepak takraw has taken over battleship.. and we are getting better by the day
    yesterday had to stay back longer, joining the j1s for extra pe-dance session just because we skipped our pe period last week so we were made to dance for 2 hrs straight
    but it was kinda fun cos alicia and i had our facil class there and they are really cool funny pple

    today at school i got rather disturbed because our bio and chem teacher kept reminding us how easy it was to kill oursleves with carbon monoxide
    it seemed as if they were trying to suggest we kill ourselves... maybe its because of our midyr grades!
    well, we are not to be blamed totally
    i mean what do they expect of us when we have a teacher who comes in every lesson telling us to drop the subject or just give up and not go for the exam at all
    and btw that's not even possible cos we are a 3 sub class

    this week has to be embarressing week or something
    - on tues after some talk while walking out of the audi i was turning back and talking to jolynn and i walked straight into a pot of plants which made a reaalllly loud noise when it hit the bench next to it and everyone there turned to look
    - today during bio lect rachel was drawing on my leg so i was trying to get back at her then richard joined in too and mr chin who was lecturing was like "richard stop playing with the girls behind.. keep poking here poking there" haha can die la

    after school study plans with ferly changed from first going home then meeting at the airport to study and surprise my dad when he arrives to lunch at town then studying at coffeeclub
    but it was all good cos we so coincidentally met peiyun!
    and we studied at adjacent tables .. haha damn fun la playing the question, 3 word, and pointing game
    i didnt exactly do much though.. but gotta start somewhere right
    after studying met my mum and aunt for sakae but was kinda full to eat much
    then i had the longest longest taxi ride home ever!
    felt as if i was going to throw up all the sushi and dessert i ate

    school has been the usual, only that we're learning a dance for pe which is quite fun
    haven't gotten back any papers yet, and they say ignorance is bliss so yeahh i rather not get back my results
    came back and watched coach carter on dvd then later i became sleepy and moody.. hah
    oh but i had very yummy pineapple rice for dinner
    ok thats all

    my week was 100% fun and 0% work
    i skipped so many lessons and if i went for them i was playing battleship
    battle ship is sooooo addictive
    on friday we played throughout mr glascow's gp tutorial then carried on with the game on the bus on our way to town and even continued playing it in hans
    have been going town everyday after school too.. i'll just die if i continue like this
    watched war of the worlds and fantastic four (alicia's show.. heh) with the terrific ten
    everyone should go watch fantastic four and look out for chris evans ! he looks so darn good in the show but i can't really find nice photos of him
    oh and i've also been having this horrible headache every single day and it just won't go away.. in fact i'm having one right now
    i think i'm going swimming with my cousin later.. hopefully it doesn't rain!

    friday was super duper wuper
    last day of exams and amies-meet-up
    hit town after the last paper to shop and eat with     ferly
    and the great singapore sale is not benefitting me at all cos i can barely find anything to buy.. which is so so sad
    then chris met us at pizza hut where we had our strawberry syrup-ice cream-soda-milkshake.. trust me it didnt taste as good as it sounds
    then headed home to take a power nap before going to the airport to meet the girls minus pei for dinner and earthquake at swensens
    too bad py couldn't come or else it would have been all eight of us
    ordering earthquake was hilarious... never knew that 7 people choosing 8 flavours of ice cream would be so chaotic i bet everyone at swensens knew what flavours we ordered
    poor louie didnt get her choice of some raisin icecream cos we voted and it was clear that majority didnt like that flavour
    eating earthquake was very... erm.. structured... cos our dear chris came up with this rule of eating earthquake where the bowl has to be rotated every minute so that everyone would have equal share of the different flavours and we were only allowed to eat the flavour directly in front of us for that one minute and couldnt jump flavours ..we would get scolding if we talked ! so everyone was just trying to make full use of the 1 minute before the bowl turned again..
    jac then left with her dad who we met coincidentally outside the toilet.. like how fated is that?
    then skytrained to terminal 1
    was at the viewing gallery when i found out to my shock and amazment that teresa carved ALL our names - as in the entire amies on the EIFFEL TOWER.. like hell! our names on the eiffel tower - one of the seven wonders of the world
    and its significant cos "amies" is french and the eiffel tower is in france and all so u see how i made the connection.. we concluded that the next thing for us to do is to learn french together then we can all go france and see for ourselves our names on the eiffel tower but for now we can go " Bonjour, Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir" and if we are hungry we can go "baguette" or "poisson" (pronounced as phua-saun, meaning fish)
    then we watched planes take off and "take down" according to someone- i forgot who
    oh and after all the midyr studying at the airport, i decided i want to work at the airport! i dont know as what yet though.. but it might just be a passing phase
    after plane viewing jesmine and i loooooked people up in the directory.. didnt get to complete the search but we're going back for part 2 of the search soon

    let it be known that the names in bold are my 7 wonders :)

    i think this photo is really amusing.. look at chris concentrating so hard and me looking so bored! choosing what to eat is a real tough choice

    yay will be going out with my cousin who's back from australia tomorrowwww but first i have to pack all my notes and books on my table cos everything is in a huge mess right now!
