so been trying to study alittle here and there everyday
but there has been school almost the whole week.. mock tests and extra lessons
so i havent had 1 extremely efficient studying day yet

anyway i always find myself in weird situations when i'm studying out
and sometimes embarressing even, esp when i'm at the airport - but none can beat the one with the bus, and the police.. yet
ok so yest i was there with ali - the girl who wants to exchange "nightly satisfaction" for maths tutoring- still no idea why me of all ppl, the person who is treading on that 50% mark, but anyhows, i was doing maths and this turkish father and daughter came to share the table with us
the girl kept peering over at my work and for a moment there i was getting alittle urked at why she kept looking
then the father asked me and alicia where we were studying, what we were studying, whats the education system like here, how old we were blah blah then the daughter started to point at my work and told me "you cant split it like that" haha so embarressing la having some tourist correcting my work
then she asked to look thru our chem notes and said she learns the same thing back in uni in turkey
so there, our little excitement for the evening, made new turkish friends : )

been listening in on very weird conversations while studying out

at starbucks liat towers, friday

self-absorbed guy: i really dont understand how so many people can die in a tsunami, i mean how dumb can they get? when the wave is coming at you, go hide behind a wall la!
girl: yeah why not you try that sometime, and if you survive you can write a book about it

and he kept going on about how when he goes clubbing girls hit on him BLAH BLAH BLAHHHH
thank god he didnt stay long, or else our(py and my) eyes would have rolled out

anyway today's studying at the airport was quite productive
found a less bustling studying location, so i was less distracted by air stewardesses, pilots..etc
and its situated really near the toilet, so louie was really stoked bout it
louie is damn good to study with .. all she does is listen to her music and go to the toilet
even if i say something, all she'll do is make a funny face or react in someway then go back to her notes
so it was damnnn quiet for the first 4 hours or so but by the last hour we got restless, walked around, talked crap bout thyroxine surfing blood waves to get to the cell receptors

y'day i had the most adventurous time in my 2 yrs in cj
we were late for night study and so ended up pulling some really cool charlie's angel stunts
we finally got into school and had no idea how to get to the library without the teacher on duty noticing us.. then we found ourselves at the back of the library
then we decided to climb up this slopish thing so that we could peer into the library and realised that jason and don were studying at that window so we started knocking or rather banging on the window, laffing and squeling at the same time.. i swear we cannot become detectives whatsoever
they seemed rather confused cos it was those kind of windows where u can look thru from one side but not from the other
after awhile they saw me and started pointing pointing all and then more ppl from inside the library started coming to the window to see who was making all that noise.. and we actually thot the library was sound proof.. like hell apparently we were dammnn loud cos even though jason and don had their ipods plugged into their ears they could hear us
anyways all the knocking and getting their attention didnt work out cos they went back to studying and didnt help us
so we walked the long way round the sch in darkness and scary ourselves silly with our own shadows
we wrapped our bags with our jackets to hide out bags ( but was super obvious la) and pink-panthered our way past the teacher to the self study area outside the library
we then took our study stuff and walked into the library as if we had been studying outside the entire time ! are we good or what!? (though by the time we accomplished all this it was already 7:40)
and my partner in crime was none other than...

this is definitely a SACs worthy stunt
SACs- making our last few days in cj count.
