    haha who am i trying to kidddd
    had a really fantastic last supper just now
    the food was damn good, company even better (cept for the 2 Js who psed us)
    i swear we are living proof that humans can actually get high on air alone
    so tomorrow is D day
    no matter what the outcome is, i've got ice cream @ jac's to look forward to
    and just a random statement, its funny how many people have dreams about the results
    anyhows good luck alll!

    thank god i didnt really go thru with my quest to find-a-valentine-in-10-days
    because i wouldnt have had such a splendid time, too bad amies was not in full force or else it would have been just perfect
    it was damn funny when i dropped at city hall cos there were more than 30 guys waiting for their dates with big bouquet of flowers in their hands.. ok maybe not so funny la huh but i think you had to be there.. they just looked so... eager. but for some reason by the end of the night i saw too many couples looking utterly bored
    so thats bout it for my vday, i'm not gonna put my night into words cos i think the photos would do it more justice, and well cos i'm kinda rushing out
    i'm so sad its wed cos that means i got another 4 days of work ahead of me and all i look forward to is sun nights, driving lessons which is giving me quite the kick and my gilmore girls episodes

    a hellava week i had
    dozen million places to go , things to do, ppl to meet , things i wanna buy/bought
    back tracking the week,
    all i remember from chinese new yr was the food
    we would just plunk ourselves at the dinner table, sit there for hours just eating and eating and eating, my maid or whoever would just go into the kitchen and come out with new things each time, at one point of time i was curious where all the food was coming from but, you know me and my lazy self, just didnt bother
    so 3 full days spent with family, family friends and relatives was enough
    and what else do you do when you just gotten angpaos?? yeahhh shopppp
    31st started off with my driving lesson where i met the utterly most pms-sy man ever, he had a problem with everything i did.. for a moment there i felt like driving up a kerb and crashing the left side of my car into a tree
    after surviving 100 mins with that menapausal man, it was off to town to meet my cousin and alicia for some shopping and it was quite an experience to see far east level 1 that deserted.. you could actually do cartwheels, dance, skip, sing at the top of your lungs, basically anything you wouldnt on a normal day at fareast then, after dinner met up with chris and jac for more shopping
    started work on the 1st, pple working with me are kinda helpful so thats good, but i guess my boss is kinda strict or rather fussy bout certain things like neatness, cleanliness, attire and stufff
    and the worst part of it is we arent really allowed to sit when we're working, we're only allowed to sit for short intervals, so i usually end up squatting behind the counter or in the fitting room when no ones watching haha
    other than that its pretty fine
    the kids who come in are really adorable, but they are spoilt beyond spoilt
    let me give you examples
    -there's this 18 mth old child who was going swimming/ beach for the first time and the parents bought 300 bucks worth of swimwear and swimming accessories for him and since they were also accompanying him there they also bought themselves new swimming outfits
    can you imagine 1 beach outing, 1 family, 500++ dollars, new stuff from top to toe
    -theres this other kid whose parents wanted to buy for him a new swim suit, so he took a couple of swim suits into the fitting room to try and he didnt like one of them , he threw the swim suit at his dad saying "take this stinking thing away from me now!" and the dad was just laughed
    -a mother told her daughter "darling go look around whatever you want just put on the counter ok" i dont think i'll ever hear my mom tell me that
    yeah so i meet very interesting ppl and they're mostly foreigners, from japan, korea, france and all the angmoh countries, which is half the fun
    plus i have lunch buddies everyday
    my boss is jap and i very amused just listening to them speak
    and i must refer to her as mama-san and she calls me tessa-san, at times i feel like i'm at a geisha house or something (but thats only because of memoirs of a geisha)
    met up with amies after my 1st day for jes's birthday dinner
    where i was inspired to name my shop (if i own one) "there"
    so ppl would actually go "lets go THERE"



    2nd day had lunch with alicia and after work shopping at bugis st with these 2


    oh and the watch shop man at bugis st thot that me and chris were sisters!hahaha

    was off on fri and had an extremely hilarious time at carls jr with photos and videos to prove and then a short detour to marina bay where we caught some fireworks!

    sat's after work special was scrap book making , chingay street partying, and walking to ps just to pass time
