i had one of the best days since school started
well nothing special really, just retro hairband friday they called it
and i didnt let the 6 hrs of classes stop me from having my fun
a very productive day with lots of learning involved
i remember drawing lots and lots of graphs, its like the only thing they're interested in
and we realised that we were making great progress into geekdom when we found ourselves finishing up math qns in an already empty lecture theatre
the 1.5 hr break time spent in our very own "marche"- like cafe was spent on our favourite hobby -people watching and laughing our heads of in front of the drinks counter that the lady told us "to order first then go sit down and laugh". then came the mochacinospinno nonsense. heh crazeee stuff
afterschool special for the day was peanut butter and condense milk toast and fried mars bars, ok let me admit, it was my first time trying it and its to-die-for, i know i'm way behind but whenever someone told me to try fried mars bars i'm like "yehhhh nice try"
then some unsuccessful bargain hunting and photo printing followed after
triple date dinner with lots of mussel talk,straight-through-the-heart moments and sideline kittyklubklan dissing. hah what a great bunch
ugghh only no photos no photossss! such a wasteeee bahh

so most part of national day was spent under the fairly hot sun loosening the soil in the tiny patch of grass we call our garden, why we had to do it? cos my father thot it would be fun doing gardening together so we dug and dug with such small spades that could easily be mistaken for those kids use to make sandcastles. but we persevered killing earthworms and centipedes along the way. the next day we visited the nusery to get materials to self-turf our grass patch and my dad realised the further amount of work that had to be put in, he gave in and hired help! which means i really wasted my whole national day! but tonight i came back to a beautiful professionally done up garden, and i found myself so happy and smiling like some idiot at that garden. i can finally say my house is completed! oh gawd i am happy with the most simplest things la. this is what we call cheap thrill.

time to crash and wake up to another weekend of birthday celebrations! ( hah its like birthdays non-stop!)

it was soo much more fun than i expected it to be!

my group TBB which stands for a whole lot of things was damn on with all the hardcoreness and very random cheering konichi kok kok konichi bom bom. we played damn yucky games like rolling in mud in the rain, catching black chickens for 100 pts and some game involving alot of saliva. boy, it was fun. human foosball was the best though! and the guys were super nice sacrificing their mattresses us for us and making us each a milo in the morn.. now everyone go AAWWWW...we entertained ourselves during our free and easy nights with This or That, SE!, and card games i can hardly keep up with like the stupid theme game and the last night was no sleep+ alot of alcohol+outrageous dares+card games+red blood shot eyed ppl all sprawled on the floor.we won overall best group!

    22 july! THE BIG BASHHH

it started in town for lunch where i was supposed to hear some announcement, which was a bit of a spoiler cos i missed it, and so they had to repeat it but anyway lunch @ dome!

i was the queeennnn. the damnn delicious bakerzinn choc cake. bags and bags of presents & my guests!

then i had to rush to the 2nd part planned by amies, thank god for my father who was such a willing chauffer that day

bbq at a suppossedly secret location which the taxi driver conveniently leaked out.. hah it happened last year too. flat and pointed party hats. very nicely coloured banner by py. jes's fruit salad, that she worked hard to promote. wonderful presents. jon who brought the cake. and some very beautiful some very crazy shots.
after that, rushing home in a cab before midnight to cut the family birthday cake! i felt like cinderella for those few minutes! i reached home at 1148 !

    24 july! driving test day!

a big PHEWWWW cos i passsed. and i gotta say i hate taking passport photos. they alwayyysss turn out somewhat wrong.

not hesitating to put up my p plate!

after that, og dinner at crystal jade and indian poker and hilarious dares in the middle of cine..

    26-27 july!
where the amies stayed over! we had a great homecooked dinner+ gourmet chef-made choc cake, my first night drive since passing, alittle no where to go @ 1230, late night supermarket shopping and dvd watching till the wee hours. louie chris and i were the sole survivors mannnn the rest of you are lousy especially jac! hah

    28 july!
richard came to my house with

and we spent a good part of the day doing up alicia's present.

right after, i had to rush down to the riverside indonesian restaurant for a dinner buffet with the tennis pple . we later spent 1.5 hrs hanging around clarke quay thinking of after dinner plans and after going thru like a dozen suggestions, we finally ended up at ben & jerry's at cathay

    29 july!

a not-so-sunny day at the beach! (dont be fooled by the photos! it was damn cloudy!) in honour of alicia's and christine's up coming birthdays. we had dinner at Samundar an indian restaurant with great ambience (they played lovely jazz music), service and not forgetting food. whoa their naan was WHOAAAA. too bad i missed out on photos from the dinner cos my camera acted up and refused to work!

    31 july!

surprised alicia with balloons, a "birthday girl" headpiece and prata on her first day of school with some kidnapping with the help of tim our pro driver!

    1 aug!

we dropped by smu to visit chard at camp and we had a mini alicia's birthday final present viewing! oh and i drove solo to pick my mum at her office and my dad at some bus terminal ! driving was not much of a problem but i was a little unfamiliar with the route so i was damn happy when i made it there!

so other than that i've been driving round alot and making my dad damn impatient when i park! what to do? i die die cannot park without those stupid 4 poles! but i improved alittle over the past 3 days..
schools been good i guess! many familiar faces, alot of nickname giving and people watching and i drove myself to school for the first time today!
and since school's started, there wont be too many photo moments, i decided to send my cam for repair.. in the meantime i'm eagerly waiting its return!

yay to another weekend of birthday celebrating!
