last fri and sat were fantastic night out with the girls
i would say friday was spontaneous and saturday exotic
so friday was quite an adventure
after my last econs lessons i joined my cousin during her lunch break just for a little meet up cos i psed her on thurs
then lazed at home for awhile before heading down to nus to pick up christine for dinner
so we went to fisherman's wharf but was caught in the usual keppel peak period jam cos christine said that fisherman's wharf was in the cbd area
anyway we mapped our way thru the rain and traffic while taking many photos at red lights
when we got there and ordered we realised that we didnt have enuff cash and they had no other form of payment
so christine offered to go to an atm which was rather far and on her way back she got caught in the rain
we took a drive down to the east side visited some place near siglap
then my dad calls to tell me that he missed his flight so he was gonna be much later than expected, so we stopped by a deserted lane thinking of where to go next
considering we were really full and had no more room for dessert, we did not have many options
turns out christine's sis had a hotel room at changi village hotel so we decided to head there since we had so much time
we missed the turning for changi village 2 times, and when we finally got on the right path we got distracted with the planes taking off and landing that we made pit stops to take photos, planes watch and just enjoy the breeze
boy i made so many illegal u turns and stops at "no stopping zones"
so we ended up not going to changi village and just when i was about to send christine home, we were around jac's house
called jac to warn her that we were about to invade.. slumped around her house chewing on her very hard cookie and burning the cd that christine was sick of cos it was playing over and over again thruout our 5 hr ride
my dad called again that he was about to arrive so i sent christine home and then rushed down to the airport to get him

saturday was an amies night to celebrate jes's birthday!
alittle farrerpark/little india mix up to start of the night
northern indian food @ delhi restaurant
garlands for the birthday girl and poodus to go around, though the rest werent quite enthusiatic about it
walked thru little india in search of an atm(AGAIN.. we should all really carry more cash)
then a drive down to the tea party where we drank tea DUHH.. and floats and played cluedo
i wanna buy a cluedo set! its really funnn, all of us being such noobs at it but still taking down notes as if we knew what we were doing! we cheated at the last part though!
so details to the murder was mrs peacock, wrench & the billard room

yay the card arrived,
which means unlimited spending!.. ok or maybe not
anyway came at the right time when i'm ultimately dead broke
and in a desperate search for grey skinnys

the word ultimately reminds me of my meeting with "the ultimate" while studying at one of the study benches today
the nickname the ultimate is so so apt

lately discussion rooms have been the talk of the town, now that exams are around the corner
but i think i'll stick to my secret studying in any empty lt i can find
cos its so much more spacious and much easier to breathe than one of those tiny boxy discussion rooms

i'm such the multitasker
i'm watching gilmore girls, the oc and blogging at the same time!

no school tomorrow so hopefully i can cover some econs
and i've rearranged my playlist so i have over 100 emo songs to do stats with
weeekend stats time

i'm loving the units i take;
econs is teaching me to spend more money for the greater good of the economy
and soci is teaching me to go out there to make more friends and broaden my network
i like what i hear

i finally watched night at the museum last week
after a month of cancelled plans and bad timings
i like the 2 tiny dudes- jed and octavius
they are such a hilarious pair

and

on a very rainy sat was fun stuff, with a good mix of family bands, cliche games, misleading auctions and para para dance songs
cept that my very very traumatised eye(from an eye infection) was bugging me all night
by 5am i thot my eyes were gonna burst!
it wasn't supposed to be such a long night but 1 thing led to another and next thing i know, the sun was about to rise

so daphne wanted pink, and pink we gave her!

wednesdays are always niceee :)

today i finally met with my cousin down from aust
and we shopped like there was no tomorrow, too bad i was low on the dough
so many, many, mental notes of to-gets
but the entire time i was out i was feeling all guilty for wasting a whole afternoon
when i should actually be catching up with IBM, hell mock exams are 2nd week of feb... hais
i gotta bring her to bugis st soon also
shit cousins should only come down during the holssss!

i should really get down to studying but there's ami now...

a nice mid-week chillout with tar today
a spontaneous sms was sent to meet up today at holland village
and about an hour later came richard but msficklepants was later cos well, she was being fickle
while waiting for Ms FP, i ended up with an impulse buy, richard was supposed to be the one shopping not me!
then we bought takeaway and had a simple candlelight dinner at my house
where we yaked our hearts out
not forgetting our little trek through mud with our takeaway and stooping low behind the bushes spying

a beautiful life indeed; keyporch huh chard ; crazy flashes in F.A.J

i just realised i missed not only a amies cycling outing on friday, i missed a kc visit tooo
I'M DISTRAUGHT
damn school, damn econs
not only that they even saw pictures of them/us/ourclass -i'm not sure what- around the school
i miss kc and i miss the east and i miss cj too- i wanna go back to all that
i think why i miss kc so much is that it was so simple
like life and everything was just the way it was
the wholesomeness of it all made me not mind spending my entire day at school
doing nonsensical stuff like crushing paper in an attempt to make our walls at the back of our class look like it was made of bricks filled with grafitti
we could do lameass stuff like sing chinese songs with our "cool" props and be considered winners
we actually prepared for phototaking day
we cheered our lungs out and painted banner after banners for sports day
we crawled out of classrooms during boring geog lessons
we had waterfights in the toilets
we took pride in putting up chinese new year decorations
we had a cool lit teacher that came up with hilarious stuff like "romantic darkness"
we had something to be proud about and felt like we belonged to something special

i think they call it spirit, we just don't do those things anymore
everything is such a ratrace and people just come and go
its sad

i want to go on and list all the things i miss bout cj/the east but i think i'll stop here cos emomonster has taken over. heh

i should be banned from listening to jay chou songs

Night Jaunt in pictures

pre event

took my first lorry ride.. hell i was literally rolling at the back with byron

ganesh did a good job driving it minus the stalling on a slope

a last minute recee in geylang all four i/cs byron joshua me and ganesh

a visit to video ezy to rent a movie for our movie screening

and then it was registration time!

first part of the event,

our very own dual screen screening of SHUTTER

boy, was i freaked out

it brought the evening to a whole new level

the whole group setting off for our night jaunt

the very noisy and unruly bus ride

first food stop : the rotiprata house :)

where all 80 of us swarmed the already very packed prata house and chomped down prata

then it was off for our 3 hour ghost tour

at various locations in the west

the first few were kinda anticlimax

but the baby corpse dumping ground and CCK cemetary had its level of spookiness i think it had something to do with all the alters, statues and tombstones

then again, when u go looking for such things in a grp of 80 i guess they just don't show themselves..

then our final stop,

some 24 hr tau huey place at geylangggg

tauhuey and you char kueh never tasted so good

i think it was the company

our end point,

the air was cool and fresh

we were early for the sunrise so we hung around the macs playground for abit

lionel; the walkie-talkie i had a love-hate relationship with all night;

the first day of '07 was spent like this

our usual cartel lunch

and pretty present receiving from chris

love those customised framed up collages

the rest watched the curse of the golden flower but py and i went searching for '07 organisers instead

but the whole of singapore is filled with plain ol' boring ones..Zzz

i'm trying to watch grey's anatomy but the rain is getting too loud

but its ok cos i'm having a damn fun msn & friendster session with ferls and alicia, at the same time robbing louie off all her jay CHOW (according to chrissy) songs
